Fraud Prevention

Escrow protects you from many scams, but not all. We believe in being honest about what we can and cannot do.

✅ Scams We Prevent

1

Trust me bro, Deposit First, Im Trusted, Meet Ups

The Scam: A scammer builds trust through conversation and reassurance, asking the other party to “send first” as a sign of good faith online, the second you send you get blocked, bye bye money. In some cases, this progresses into an in person meeting, where last-minute changes, pressure, or unsafe conditions are introduced

"I sent the payment" (Fake Payment Screenshots)

The Scam: A buyer sends a fake screenshot showing a transaction, hoping the seller releases the goods. The Fix: Tscrow ignores screenshots. It watches the legislative blockchain. If the blockchain doesn't say the money is there, then the money is not there :/

2

"The Middleman" (Triangulation Fraud)

The Scam: A scammer acts as a middleman between a real buyer and real seller, stealing the goods. The Fix: Tscrow requires both users to join the deal via Telegram. You can see exactly who you are dealing with. The Vault is bound to those specific Telegram users' wallets.

3

"Meetup"

Risky in person cash meetups that rely on trust and can turn into no shows, pressure, or theft, stay safe and complete deals from home.

⚠️ Scams We CANNOT Prevent

1

Off Platform Communication

The risk: A user asks you to "chat on WhatsApp" or "send funds directly to save fees." The reality: If you leave the Tscrow, we cannot help you. Never send funds outside the official bot chat for the deal.

2

"Admin Impersonators"

The risk: Someone DMs you claiming to be Tscrow Support and asks for your private key. The reality: Tscrow Admins will NEVER DM you

3

Escrow reduces risk by enforcing rules and locking funds — but it does not replace personal judgment or common sense.
